Alan founded GlobeArc Software after more than 20 years working at the point where Enterprise Architecture and Business Process Management meet. Across that time, he saw the same problem again and again: architecture teams and process teams were trying to improve the same organization using tools that kept their information apart.

His career spans both sides of the problem. On the software side, he led Professional Services for the Americas at SAP Signavio, consulted with iGrafx, and worked as a Senior Solution Architect at Troux (now Planview). On the practitioner side, he has led process improvement, automation, and transformation work at organizations including Capital One, Johnson Controls, and Bristol Myers Squibb.

Alan is a Six Sigma Black Belt and is based in the Richmond, Virginia area, where GlobeArc Software is headquartered.
